Message Today was a great day with the Z. Not only did I put about ~200 miles on it this beautiful SoCal Saturday but I fixed two major dents. I hadn't been driving it nearly as much while things have been hectic and it sure didn't help that I had these dents drawing my eye.

I've organized a few dent-removal days in the past but this was a solo call thanks to my neighbor. I share a four car garage with him in my complex though hopefully that'll change very soon. Anyway, his kid's mountain bike left a silver-dollar sized dent on the crease of my driver's side fender when it tipped over during last month's earthquake. I was worried because dents close to edges or on creases are usually the toughest to get out without chipping the paint but, as usual, Jeff@Beach Cities Dent Removal worked his magic with great results.

He also took care of a stubborn dent that was my fault from years ago. In a bonehead move I pulled the "left my oil cap on the plenum and closed the hood" maneuver, leaving an ugly peak. The silver lining to my neighbor's mishap is that Jeff was able to spot that and fix it without even removing the heat shield. Absolute gravy! I don't have before pics of the hood because I tried to block it out of my mind but here's the fender before and after.

All hail the mighty PDR gods.

Before

And after. Once it cools down and I put a few beers in me, I'll go polish out those scuff marks.

So to that guy Servoc that posted earlier in the week asking if PDR is worth it, here's your answer. Good luck!
